Percepción sobre barreras I : Percepción sobre barreras arquitectónicas , personas en condición de discapacidad Universidad Piloto de Colombia

Abstract

La Universidad Piloto ha tenido muchos cambios en su estructura física y ha construido más espacios confortables para la comunidad estudiantil. Pero a pesar de lo anterior, en estas transformaciones recientes todavía existen barreras arquitectónicas que limitan la movilidad física de algunos miembros de la Universidad que están en condición de discapacidad, lo que tiene consecuencias en su integración en condiciones de igualdad. En este proyecto se trabajarán diferentes temáticas, orientadas a estructurar teóricamente el tema de la presente investigación. Se iniciará exponiendo algunos aspectos de la normativa vigente a nivel nacional e internacional sobre discapacidad y barreras arquitectónicas. Esta contextualización sobre la normas presenta el camino que se debe seguir en cuanto a los ajustes necesarios para lograr una sociedad incluyente.

The Rider University has had many changes in its physical structure and has built more comfortable spaces for the student community. But despite this, in these recent transformations still exist architectural barriers that limit the physical mobility of some members of the University who are in condition of disability, which has consequences in its integration on equal terms. Different themes, structure theoretically the subject of this research-oriented will be working on this project. Start exposing some aspects of existing legislation at national and international level on disability and architectural barriers. This contextualization of the standards presents the path that must be followed in terms of the necessary adjustments to achieve an inclusive society.
