Plan de gestión integral de los residuos sólidos en el corregimiento san marino ubicado en el municipio de bagadó del departamento de Chocó

Abstract

Los seres humanos se han dedicado a generar cantidades sobresalientes de residuos, debido al consumismo; cada día se desecha más y se recicla menos, el afán de desarrollar tecnologías que faciliten la vida al ser humano, tiene al medio ambiente en el límite. Cada vez se contamina más, cada vez se agotan más recursos, no se está siendo responsable con el medio ambiente ni contribuyendo al desarrollo sostenible del planeta. En el corregimiento San Marino, ubicado en el municipio de Bagadó, del departamento del Chocó, se presenta una situación ambiental bastante preocupante debido a que no se realiza correctamente el manejo integral de los residuos que se generan allí; el vertimiento de estos en las fuentes hídricas, causan impactos ambientales muy altos, por lo cual, si no se realiza la gestión adecuada de los residuos sólidos, de manera oportuna, el bienestar de la comunidad se verá afectado. Para contribuir de alguna manera con la disminución de la contaminación en este lugar, y reducir la huella ecológica se propone un plan de gestión integral de los residuos sólidos para el corregimiento con el fin de darle el manejo adecuado a los residuos generados. El PGIRS para el corregimiento de San Marino consta de proyectos dirigidos a: la educación ambiental, almacenamiento selectivo, instalación de un centro de acopio y la formación de una organización comunitaria que ejerza la actividad de rescate y aprovechamiento de residuos sólidos, todo esto con el objetivo de aportar a la gestión ambiental municipal.

Humans have dedicated themselves to generating outstanding amounts of waste, due to consumerism; every day more is discarded and less recycled, the eagerness to develop technologies that facilitate the life to the human being, has to the environment in the limit. Every time more is contaminated, every time more resources are depleted, it is not being responsible with the environment or contributing to the sustainable development of the planet. In San Marino, located in the municipality of Bagadó, in the department of Chocó, a quite worrying environmental situation is presented due to the fact that the integral management of the waste generated there is not carried out correctly; the discharge of these in the water sources, cause very high environmental impacts, so that, if the proper management of solid waste is not carried out, in a timely manner, the welfare of the community will be affected. To contribute in some way to the reduction of pollution in this place; and to reduce the ecological footprint, a plan for the integral management of solid waste is proposed for San Marino to give it proper handling to the waste, which consists of projects aimed at: environmental education, selective storage, installation of a collection center and the formation of a community organization that exercises the activity of rescue and use of solid waste. All this with the aim of contributing to municipal environmental management.
