Estrategias de prevención de riesgos psicosociales de representantes de información y control en la Fase III de Transmilenio

Abstract

Hoy el sistema integrado de transporte público de Bogotá (SITP), y las personas que desempeñan el cargo de representantes de información y control han venido siendo violentados y agredidos a diario tanto física como psicológicamente. Es posible evidenciar constantemente en los diferentes medios de comunicación el riesgo psicosocial al que se ven expuestos estas personas, por lo que surgió la necesidad de realizar este estudio de investigación, compilando las percepciones de los empleados e indagando los mecanismos que la compañía Recaudo Bogotá, concesionaria del sistema, ha implementado para mitigar estos riesgos. La metodología utilizada fue análisis de discurso mediante la recolección de información por medio de entrevistas semi-estructuradas, aplicadas a 15 personas que ocupan el cargo de Representantes de Información y control en las estaciones de Transmilenio cuya función principal es controlar el acceso al sistema. La relevancia de la investigación evidencia en varios aspectos que hay que intervenir con la necesaria urgencia y alerta para que el área de gestión humana aplique las estrategias propuestas en las recomendaciones, tales como el acompañamiento continuo en los lugares de trabajo a los empleados, diseño de un plan de comunicación estratégico y establecimiento de alianzas colectivas con el distrito y los diferentes entes gubernamentales para sensibilizar a los usuarios de la importancia de cuidar y respetar el Sistema integrado de transporte público (SITP).

The public transit system in Bogotá (SITP) and the person with information and control representatives job title have been recently under abuse and harrasment, both physical and psychological, by some profiles of violent individuals that use the system on a daily basis. There is plenty of evidence in the national and local media of the psychosocial risks to which employees are exposed constantly, hence the idea for this research study, which intends to consolidate the views and perceptions of Information and Control Reps and investigate the mechanism and methods that Recaudo Bogotá, the company operating the system, have designed and deployed to mitigate those risks. The methodology used for this study is the discourse analysis through the recollection of information via semistructured interviews, applied to 15 diverse individuals who hold the position of Information and Control Reps in Transmilenio BRT system stations, whose main function is actually the access control at the different entry gates to the system. The relevance of this research shows in various aspects the need to intervene with a sense of urgency to ensure that the HR function in the operating company starts applying the proposed strategies with in the recommendations, such as continuous support of the employees at the very working environment, design of a strategic communication plan and establishment of alliances with the city council and the different relevant government agencies in order to educate the users to respect and appreciate the Integrated Public Transit System in Bogotá.
