Evaluación hidráulica de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable del municipio de Togüí Boyacá

Abstract

Este trabajo evalúa el comportamiento hidráulico de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable, localizada en Togui-Boyacá, Colombia. Este proyecto consta de cinco fases mediante las cuales se pudo definir el comportamiento de la PTAP del municipio de Togüí (las coordenadas 1’06,2863.431 norte y 1’148,264.261 este). En la primera fase se hizo una investigación previa relacionada con el tema a tratar, el cuál consistía en la obtención en la lectura de estudios anteriores. En una segunda fase se realizó una visita de campo a la PTAP del municipio, para verificar el comportamiento hidráulico. En la tercera fase se hizo una recolección de la información brindada por la alcaldía del municipio, tales como manuales operación, planos técnicos e informes realizados a la planta, luego se procede a la cuarta fase en la cual se analiza la información recolectada, verificando que las características físico-químicas del agua cumplan con los parámetros establecidos con el resolución 2115 del 2007, a su vez dando cumplimiento a las condiciones en las que se encuentran las estructuras unitarias con base a la resolución 0330 del 2017. En la quinta fase se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones a la PTAP, analizando cada proceso unitario tales como; proceso de coagulación, floculación, sedimentación y filtración. Finalizando esta investigación da respuesta al funcionamiento de la PTAP en el municipio de Togüí, Boyacá.

This work evaluates the hydraulic behavior of the drinking water treatment plant, located in Togüí -Boyacá, Colombia. This project consists of five phases through which it was possible to define the behavior of the PTAP of the municipality of Togüí (coordinates 1'06,2863,431 north and 1'148,264,261 east). In the first phase, a previous research was made related to the subject to be treated, which consisted in the collection of concepts from previous studies on drinking water treatment plants. In a second phase a field visit was made to the PTAP of the municipality, to verify the hydraulic behavior. In the third phase, a collection of the information provided by the municipal government was made, such as operation manuals, technical plans and reports made to the plant, then proceeds to the fourth phase in which the information collected is analyzed, verifying that the physico-chemical characteristics of the water comply with the parameters established in resolution 2115 of 2007, in turn giving compliance to the conditions in which the unit structures are based on resolution 0330 of 2017. In the fifth phase the conclusions and recommendations are presented to the PTAP, analyzing each unitary process such as; coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration process. Finally, the pertinent recommendations are made in this research, answering how to improve the functioning of the PTAP in the municipality of Togüí, Boyacá.
