Integración económica y acuerdos comerciales entre Colombia y Chile

Abstract

Los acuerdos comerciales de integración económica han permitido a los diferentes países el desarrollo de actividades de intercambio de manera más eficaz, esto con el fin de garantizar el fortalecimiento de la economía de los distintos países participantes por medio de la eliminación o reducción de las barreras arancelarias, entendiendo la eliminación de las barreras arancelarias como la oportunidad de obtener beneficios comerciales en los diferentes sectores potenciales. El presente proyecto de investigación se enfoca en el análisis del tratado comercial de integración entre Colombia y Chile que fue aprobado por la Corte Constitucional el 27 de enero de 2009 y entró en vigencia el 8 de mayo del 2009; con el fin de demostrar la evolución comercial a partir de la alta participación en aspectos económicos que se desarrollan desde las exportaciones e importaciones; la integración económica gracias al acuerdo comercial entre Colombia y Chile produjo un beneficio en el sector económico en las diferentes ciudades y regiones. Finalmente el proyecto logra evidenciar un mejoramiento económico en los diferentes sectores por el aumento de importaciones y exportaciones que se han llevado a cabo entre los dos países; aun así, teniendo en cuenta que el acuerdo permite la reducción de las barreras arancelarias, se evidencia que no se ha aprovechado en su totalidad, pues las importaciones y exportaciones no han llegado a un nivel significativo comparada con los acuerdos comerciales que Chile ha realizado con otros países en el mundo.

The trade agreements of economic integration have allowed the different countries to develop exchange activities more effectively, this in order to guarantee the strengthening of the economy of the different participating countries through the elimination or reduction of tariff barriers, understanding the elimination of tariff barriers as the opportunity to obtain commercial benefits in the different potential sectors. This research project focuses on the analysis of the commercial integration treaty between Colombia and Chile that was approved by the Constitutional Court on January 27, 2009 and entered into force on May 8, 2009; in order to demonstrate the commercial evolution from the high participation in economic aspects that develop from exports and imports; economic integration thanks to the trade agreement between Colombia and Chile produced a benefit in the economic sector in the different cities and regions. Finally, the project shows an economic improvement in the different sectors due to the increase in imports and exports that have been carried out between the two countries; Even so, taking into account that the agreement allows the reduction of tariff barriers, it is evident that it has not been fully exploited, since imports and exports have not reached a significant level compared to the trade agreements that Chile has made with other countries in the world.
