Apuestas permanentes: de la ilegalidad en las calles a la fiscalización en la red

Abstract

El juego de apuestas permanentes o “chance” ha tenido gran auge en la población colombiana ya que por una pequeña inversión económica pueden llegar a obtener una ganancia bastante significativa. Desafortunadamente de la mano de este gran auge se encuentra la ilegalidad, y esto se ve reflejado en la disminución de recursos para el sector salud, el cual es el principal objetivo de este tipo de juego de suerte y azar. Gracias a los avances tecnológicos que han tenido las apuestas permanentes, éstas fueron evolucionando considerablemente y han llegado a la modalidad de apuestas en línea y tiempo real. Es en ese instante donde la seguridad informática entra a jugar un papel sumamente importante para el control que debe tener cada una de las entidades concedentes de este tipo de juego. Por este motivo se presentaron una serie de recomendaciones técnicas las cuales pueden ser usadas para la escogencia del mejor oferente para la explotación del juego, teniendo en cuenta puntos críticos como integridad de la información, seguridad tanto en los centros de cómputo como en la infraestructura de comunicación y red comercial de venta.

The permanent gambling or "chance" has been booming in the Colombian population and for a small financial investment can become significant enough to make a profit. Unfortunately the hand of this great boom is illegal, and this is reflected in the declining resources for the health sector, which is the main objective of this type of game of chance. Thanks to technological advances that have permanent bets, they have evolved considerably and have reached the form of online gambling and real-time. It is in that moment where information security comes into play a major role for the control that must have each of the grantors of this type of game. For this reason we presented a series of technical recommendations which can be used for the selection of the best bidder to operate the game, taking into account critical issues like data integrity, security of both data centers and infrastructure in commercial communication and sales network.
