Ciberterrorismo: De latente a evidente amenaza para las entidades públicas en Colombia

Abstract

El Ciberespacio se ha convertido en el lugar donde una nueva sociedad virtual converge para tener acceso a la información, realizar trámites y obtener servicios en creciente demanda, sin embargo, los peligros que suelen presentarse en el mundo real se han trasladado a este mundo virtual y en muchos casos con consecuencias más peligrosas; este es el caso del Ciberterrorismo el cual ha llevado los ataques, el espionaje, el sabotaje y hasta la guerra a un nuevo nivel y que apoyado por movimientos como el Hacktivismo se convierte en una creciente amenaza para los intereses públicos de cualquier nación. En Colombia este fenómeno apenas comienza a tratarse, diversos Ciberataques que pueden catalogarse como Ciberterroristas ya se han registrado y se hace necesario fortalecer la estrategia de Ciberseguridad planteada por el gobierno para enfrentar un posible ataque Ciberterrorista en nuestro país.

Cyberspace has become the place where a new virtual society converges to access information, perform transactions and obtain services in growing demand, however, the dangers that often occur in the real world have moved into this virtual world and often with dangerous consequences, this is the case which has led Cyber attacks, Espionage, Sabotage and even War to a new level and supported by movements like Hacktivismo becomes an increasing threat to public interests of any nation. In Colombia, this phenomenon is only beginning to be treated, several Cyber attacks can be categorized as cyber-terrorists have already registered and we need to strengthen cybersecurity strategy proposed by the government for a possible attack on our country..
