Un recorrido entre puentes y bordes : renovación urbana de frentes de agua

Abstract

Este proyecto está ubicado en Colombia, al suroccidente del departamento de Cundinamarca en el municipio de Girardot. el cual limita al oriente, con el río Bogotá y el municipio de Ricaurte; al norte, con los municipios de Nariño y Tocaima; al sur con el río Magdalena y el municipio de Flandes y al occidente con el río Magdalena y el municipio de Coello. El río Magdalena nace en el páramo de las Papas en el departamento del Huila y desemboca en el mar Caribe en Bocas de Ceniza y tiene una extensión de 1.540 km, el cual está dividido en tres cuencas donde Girardot pertenece a la cuenca alta del río . El polígono de intervención cuenta con un área de 26 ha aproximadamente, se ubica en un borde natural, el cual está representado por el río Magdalena, en donde surgen dos ejes paralelos que son el puente vehicular Ospina Pérez y el puente del Ferrocarril que conectan con el Departamento del Tolima. En su contexto más cercano se encuentra el centro vacacional Comfacundi, la antigua Estación del Ferrocarril que hoy día es la Casa de la Cultura, la Plaza de Mercado, la antigua Trilladora, el embarcadero turístico, el monumento al Boga y la parroquia San Miguel, además de relevantes vías como lo son la calle 16 y las carreras 15,14, 10 y 7. Este proyecto consiste en una propuesta de renovación urbana en el municipio de Girardot con la cual se pretende generar un recorrido entre los puentes y bordes presentes en el área de intervención tales como el puente del Ferrocarril y el puente Ospina Pérez y el Río Magdalena, Girardot y el municipio de Flandes, respectivamente. Para esto se tuvieron en cuenta los conceptos de diseño urbano de Entornos Vitales como la permeabilidad, variedad, legibilidad y

versatilidad, los cuales al analizarlos y aplicarlos definen el alcance del proyecto y las diferentes propuestas dentro del mismo, las cuales se dividen en 4 fases:

La primera fase es la reubicación de las viviendas que están el área de protección del Río Magdalena, para ello se plantea dentro del polígono de intervención un proyecto de vivienda multifamiliar; la segunda fase son los espacios de conexión donde el principal es el sendero peatonal paralelo a la ribera del río, también las nuevas vías vehiculares y peatonales al interior del proyecto y la restauración de vegetación nativa del lugar en las áreas de protección; la tercera fase son los espacios de recreación por medio de la creación de plazoletas y un equipamiento deportivo y la cuarta fase es la intervención de los monumentos nacionales, la cual se puede desarrollar de forma paralela a la segunda y tercera fase.

In its closest context is the resort Comfacundi, the old Railway Station that today is the House of Culture, the Market Square, the old Trilladora, the tourist wharf, the monument to the Boga and the San Miguel Parish, as well as relevant roads such as the Calle 16 and the Carreras 15,14, 10 and 7. This project consists of a proposal for urban renewal in the municipality of Girardot with which it is intended to generate a path between the bridges and edges present in the intervention area such as the Railway Bridge and the Ospina Pérez Bridge and the Magdalena River, Girardot and the municipality of Flandes, respectively. For this we considered the concepts of urban design of Responsive Environments such as permeability, variety, legibility and versatility, which in their analysis and application define the scope of the project and the different proposals within it, which are divided into 4 phases: The first phase is the relocation of housing units in the Magdalena River Protection Area, for which a multi-family housing project is proposed within the intervention zone; the second phase is the connecting spaces where the main one is the pedestrian path parallel to the river bank, also the new vehicular and pedestrian routes inside the project and the restoration of native vegetation of the site in the protection areas; the third phase is the recreation spaces through the creation of small squares and sports equipment and the fourth phase is the intervention of national monuments, which can be developed in parallel with the second and third phases.
