Actitudes hacia el ejercicio de la ciudadanía en jóvenes que pertenecen a la academia superior de artes de Bogotá (ASAB)

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal describir las actitudes de 120 jóvenes que pertenecen a la Academia Superior de Artes de Bogotá (ASAB) frente al ejercicio de la ciudadanía. Para ello, se diseñó, valido y aplicó un instrumento el cual permitió identificar las actitudes de los participantes, así mismo permitió comparar las diferencias entre prácticas artísticas (música, danzas, plásticas y escénicas) en relación al ejercicio de la ciudadanía. El referente teórico se sustenta en: ciudadanía, actitudes, arte y juventud. El marco metodológico es de carácter cuantitativo, no experimental y corresponde al tipo de investigación descriptiva. Los resultados arrojan que el instrumento es fiable y consistente. Junto a esto, se evidencia que los jóvenes presentan más actitudes favorables frente a las dimensiones que evalúan el ejercicio de la ciudadanía, sin embargo, ellos muestran algunas posiciones de indecisión frente a las mismas. Con relación a las prácticas árticas en las cuales los/las jóvenes se forman, Danzas fue la práctica que tuvo mayor diferencias significativas frente a las prácticas de música, escénica y plásticas.

This research's main objective is to describe the attitudes of 120 young people who belong to the Academia Superior de Artes en Bogotá (ASAB) towards the exercise of citizenship. To this end, an instrument which identifies the attitudes of participants was designed, validated, and implemented. Furthermore, this instrument allowed to compare the differences between artistic practices (music, dance, visual and performing) in relation to the exercise of citizenship. The theoretical reference is based on: citizenship, attitudes, art and youth. The methodological framework is quantitative, nonexperimental and corresponds to the descriptive type of research. The results show that the instrument is reliable and consistent; beside this, it becomes apparent that young people have a more favorable attitude toward the dimensions that evaluate the exercise of citizenship. However, they show some indecision in their position against them. Regarding the artistic practices in which young men / women are formed, Dances was the practice with the most significant differences, compared to the practices of music, performing and visual arts.
