Abstract

En la sociedad actual, la llamada sociedad del conocimiento y la información, es incuestionable la dependencia tecnológica prevaleciente en todos los ámbitos de la vida, incluyendo por supuesto, el de los negocios. Lo anterior, debido a la fuerte incursión de los dispositivos tecnológicos que ayudan a la gestión, el intercambio y el almacenamiento de la información, así como a la comunicación entre los individuos. Y es que la introducción de estas tecnologías, pasando desde el servidor central, al ordenador personal y posteriormente al internet y a las redes sociales, y a lo que más recientemente ha sido denominado como el internet de las cosas1 , ha dado lugar no solamente a oportunidades de negocio en nuevos sectores económicos, sino a una transformación de los sectores tradicionales y a una nueva forma de concebir el mundo. Pero la evolución de tales tecnologías no termina con los hitos mencionados anteriormente y que hicieron parte de la llamada revolución en el acceso y difusión de la información, sino que, actualmente se ha empezado a mencionar en diferentes textos académicos, el novedoso “internet del valor”, como parte de lo que ha sido denominado también, “la revolución en la transmisión y valor de datos en internet” (Preukschat, 2017, p.161). Esta nueva revolución está sustentada en la introducción de diversos sistemas computacionales y plataformas, las cuales, apoyadas en las llamadas “Cadenas de Bloques” – o blockchain, por el término en inglés, el cual se usará a largo de este documento por su amplia difusión –, permiten transmitir valor a través de la red, representado por ejemplo en títulos, registros, certificaciones, archivos o canciones, de una forma digital y descentralizada
