Abstract

El proyecto se desarrollará en Villavicencio - Meta donde se evidencia déficit de equipamientos culturales que reflejen la IDENTIDAD LLANERA. Por ello, a través de la arquitectura y el paisaje, edificar un centro cultural que FOMENTE LA CULTURA E INCLUSIÓN SOCIAL es el fin del planteamiento, en donde un teatro-auditorio y una biblioteca complementarán y fortalecerán el sector educativo. Al proceder con el equipamiento y rescatar la integración con espacio público que refleje la identidad cultural del municipio, se implementaron dentro del proyecto conceptos de Jan Gehl: detener la construcción de “arquitectura barata para la gasolina”, hacer de la vida pública el eje del diseño urbano, diseñar experiencias multisensoriales, escala humana, sostenibilidad ambiental y arquitectura sostenible, fusionados con los de la nueva arquitectura de Le Corbusier: pilotis, techo-jardín, planta libre, ventana alargada y fachada libre, estos son el soporte formal del planteamiento general.
