Reforzamiento y reconstrucción del tramo II del Jarillon del Cauca (Cali)

Abstract

La bella ciudad de Santiago de Cali se encuentra limitada al oriente con el río Cauca, el segundo río más importante de Colombia y uno de los más caudalosos del occidente colombiano el cual también genera una amenaza de inundación para la tercera ciudad más importante de nuestro país; por esta razón, la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle de Cauca, junto al Fondo de Adaptación, contrataron el realce y reforzamiento de Jarillón paralelo al río Cauca entre las as abscisas K12+775 a K14+125 (Brisas de nuevo amanecer) y K15+923 a K17+028 (Parque Lineal CVC). Al finalizar el proyecto, se reducirán los riesgos de inundaciones en las zonas aledañas a río en más del 90%.

The beautiful city of Santiago de Cali is limited to the east by the Cauca River, the second most important in Colombia and one of the largest in western Colombia, which although they represent many advantages in providing drinking water for the city, also generates a threat of flooding for the third most important city of our country, for this reason the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle de Cauca together with the Adaptation Fund, hired the enhancement and reinforcement of dam parallel to the Cauca River between the abscissas K12 + 775 to K14 +125 (Brisas de nuevo amanecer) and K15 + 923 to K17 +028(Parque Lineal CVC). At the end of the project, the risks of flooding in the areas surrounding the river will be reduced by more than 90%.
