Sistema de vivienda sustentable para la comunidad indígena Wayuu

Abstract

Se desarrolla una propuesta de un modelo de unidad de vivienda sustentable Wayuu en el territorio desértico de la alta Guajira, mediante el cual se busca mitigar la pérdida del conocimiento ancestral de como habitar el territorio, generada por la migración masiva de las comunidades a cascos urbanos, aplicando conceptos ancestrales de su arquitectura y materialidad además de incorporar nuevos componentes adquiridos por su constante relación con el mundo contemporáneo brindando condiciones de habitabilidad en los espacios. La propuesta se basa en un ejercicio de taller participativo que se realiza con la comunidad con el fin de identificar la percepción del indígena por su territorio, sintetizando los resultados en matrices de análisis que establecen los lineamientos de diseño para la propuesta que tiene como fin último integrar la comunidad Wayuu mediante componentes relacionados por dinámicas sociales, para fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia del indígena por su cultura y territorio. .
