Reestructuración urbana del Parque La Leyenda Vallenata

Abstract

Valledupar - Cesar es una ciudad localizada al norte del país; cuenta con uno de los festivales más importantes del mundo “Festival Vallenato” declarado patrimonio inmaterial y cultural de la humanidad por la UNESCO en 2015. Debido a la problemática encontrada en la ciudad por la pérdida de cultura y tradiciones relacionadas con la música vallenata, problema que afecta a la población colombiana, se vio pertinente desarrollar un espacio donde se pudiera aportar a la solución de esta situación. Considerando que la ciudad cuenta con un lote de 23 hectáreas destinado para todo lo relacionado con el Festival Vallenato y su folclor, del cual solo existe el “Coliseo Cacique Upar”, utilizado una sola vez al año para este mismo evento. Se reestructura la propuesta existente teniendo en cuenta las necesidades actuales de la ciudad y sus alrededores relacionadas a la cultura y fomento de esta misma.

The problems found in the city due to the loss of culture and traditions related to vallenato music, a problem that affects to the Colombian population, it was pertinent to develop a space where it could contribute to the solution of this situation. Considering that the city has an allotment of 23 hectares destined for everything related to the Vallenato Festival and its folklore, of which there is only the Coliseo Cacique Upar, used once a year for this same event. It restructures the existing proposal taking into account the current needs of the city and its surroundings related to culture and promotion of it.
