Memoria, Orgullo y Herencia: Recuperación Cultural, Ecológica y Patrimonial en Suesca

Abstract

“MEMORIA, ORGULLO Y HERENCIA” no es solo el título de este proyecto de tesis, también es un homenaje a la historia y cultura de Suesca, un compromiso con la recuperación de la riqueza cultural y patrimonial de este municipio. Las estaciones férreas han atestiguado importantes momentos históricos, han participado del crecimiento social y económico de nuestro país, además han sido fundamentales en la construcción y consolidación de la identidad y cultura de los pueblos, sin embargo, hoy enfrentan el olvido tras el declive que sufrió el sistema ferroviario. Este abandono no solo ha deteriorado su estructura física, sino que también ha mermado los valores culturales y comerciales de la región. Enmarcado en la línea de investigación “Hábitat y territorio”, este proyecto aborda la restauración patrimonial y la reactivación cultural de las estaciones La laguna y El Crucero, sus infraestructuras arquitectónica y ecológica. Esta tesis propone la recuperación del patrimonio cultural del municipio a partir de estrategias arquitectónicas y culturales con el objetivo de preservar la identidad y la arquitectura local, ofreciendo a la comunidad nuevos espacios culturales y recreativos que promuevan el turismo y reactiven la economía del municipio honrando así la memoria, el orgullo y la herencia histórica y patrimonial de Suesca.

Framed within the line of research “Habitat and territory”, this project addresses the heritage restoration and cultural reactivation of the La Laguna and El Crucero stations, their architectural and ecological infrastructures. This thesis proposes the recovery of the cultural heritage of the municipality based on architectural and cultural strategies with the aim of preserving local identity and architecture, offering the community new cultural and recreational spaces that promote tourism and reactivate the economy of the municipality, thus honoring the memory, pride and historical and heritage heritage of Suesca.
