Abstract

La investigación analiza la protección y gestión de infraestructuras críticas cibernéticas (ICC), destacando su importancia en la estabilidad y seguridad nacional. Se abordan los desafíos que enfrentan estos sistemas debido a la creciente interconectividad y dependencia tecnológica, partiendo de comprender el concepto propiamente y sus características. La ciberseguridad es crucial para mitigar riesgos como ciberataques y malware, que pueden comprometer servicios esenciales en el funcionamiento de las naciones. El análisis incluye la evaluación de vulnerabilidades, la implementación de estándares internacionales y la creación de centros de respuesta sectoriales. También se enfatiza la necesidad de cooperación entre entidades públicas y privadas, así como la participación en diálogos globales para fortalecer la resiliencia de las ICC (Infraestructuras Criticas Cibernéticas) dada la naturaleza transnacional de las amenazas existentes. A través de un enfoque multidimensional y colaborativo, se busca garantizar la continuidad y seguridad de los servicios vitales en un entorno digitalizado. La protección de estas infraestructuras requiere una estrategia integral que combine medidas técnicas, normativas y de gestión de riesgos, asegurando así la estabilidad y el bienestar de la sociedad, así como los intereses de la población en general.

The research analyzes the protection and management of cyber-critical infrastructures (CCI), highlighting their importance for national stability and security. It addresses the challenges these systems face due to increasing interconnectivity and technological dependence, starting from understanding the concept and its characteristics. Cybersecurity is crucial to mitigate risks such as cyberattacks and malware that can compromise essential services in the functioning of nations. The analysis includes the evaluation of vulnerabilities, the implementation of international standards, and the creation of sectoral response centers. It also emphasizes the need for cooperation between public and private entities, as well as participation in global dialogues to strengthen the resilience of CCI (Cyber-Critical Infrastructures) given the transnational nature of existing threats. Through a multidimensional and collaborative approach, the aim is to ensure the continuity and security of vital services in a digitized environment. Protecting these infrastructures requires a comprehensive strategy that combines technical, regulatory, and risk management measures, thus ensuring the stability and well-being of society as well as the interests of the general population.
