Propuesta metodológica sostenible orientada en el manejo de residuos sólidos para la población de la UPZ 89 en la ciudad de Bogotá d.C.

Abstract

El presente estudio, está enfocado en el planteamiento de una propuesta metodológica en la UPZ 89 San Isidro Patios (Bogotá D.C.) orientada al manejo de los residuos sólidos, siendo esta la principal problemática persistente dentro del contexto. En primera instancia, se realiza una investigación basada en enfoques cuantitativos y cualitativos, en los que se obtiene información pertinente sobre la población de estudio. A partir de la investigación, se implementó como instrumento de estudio de datos, la entrevista, con la cual se obtuvo información pertinente que evidencia que entre las causas que existen y aumentan la problemática, se destaca la falta de conciencia, educación y cultura por parte de la población, sin prescindir del hecho de que la UPZ no cuenta en su totalidad con cobertura de servicios de recolección y transporte de residuos sólidos. Entre las consecuencias se puede destacar parte de la contaminación del rio Teusacá y el aire, así como también el aumento en la propagación de enfermedades e infecciones en la población. Ante esta situación, se plantea o propone el desarrollo de un prototipo que, junto a las etapas de sensibilización y capacitación, ayude con la disminución de la significativa problemática.

The present study is focused on the approach of a methodological proposal in UPZ 89 San Isidro Patios (Bogotá D.C.) oriented to the management of solid waste, this being the main persistent problem within the context. In the first instance, research is carried out based on quantitative and qualitative approaches, in which pertinent information about the study population is obtained. Based on the research, the interview was implemented as a data study instrument, with which pertinent information was obtained that shows that among the causes that exist and increase the problem, the lack of awareness, education and culture on the part of the of the population, without ignoring the fact that the UPZ does not have complete coverage of solid waste collection and transportation services. Among the consequences, we can highlight part of the contamination of the Teusacá River and the air, as well as the increase in the spread of diseases and infections in the population. Given this situation, the development of a prototype is proposed or proposed that, together with the awareness and training stages, helps to reduce the significant problem.
