El claustro como modelo arquitectónico de un museo

Abstract

El desarrollo de un equipamiento cultural en un municipio como Villa de Leyva donde su condición de monumento nacional limita el desarrollo de proyectos contemporáneos, por su estilo colonial hace que nuevas propuestas se vean condicionadas a cumplir con su normativa. El uso de fachadas blancas, cubierta a dos aguas, el paramento y altura máxima de dos niveles que se deben tener en cuenta al momento de diseñar establecen ciertas condiciones especiales al momento de intervenir algo histórico desde lo contemporáneo. Por ese motivo, este trabajo de grado trata sobre la transición arquitectónica contemporánea en un contexto patrimonial, el problema que se plantea sobre esta transición arquitectónica es que las edificaciones sin importar su uso, en este caso dotacional cultural están condicionadas completamente al estilo colonial del lugar haciéndolos ver como estructurados, es importante contribuir a resolver esta problemática para permitir el crecimiento de la ciudad y dar mayor flexibilidad a los edificios respetando la norma. Por lo anterior este articulo aporta a la solución del problema planteado diseñando un equipamiento cultural como un museo que sea la transición entre el contexto colonial y moderno que mimetice ambas morfologías. Esto se piensa hacer mediante la utilización de la estructura formal de un claustro, entendido como un patio interior que funciona como elemento ordenador. La realización de un museo en este lugar tan histórico permite presentar algo más que obras dentro de diferentes espacios, otorga la posibilidad de contextualizar un elemento, sin limitarlo que genere un contraste entre lo nuevo y lo antiguo reinterpretándolo.

The use of white facades, a gable roof, the facing and maximum height of two levels that must be taken into account when designing certain special conditions when intervening in something historical from the contemporary. For this reason, this degree work deals with the contemporary architectural transition in a heritage context, the problem that arises about this architectural transition is that the buildings, regardless of their use, in this case cultural endowments, are completely conditioned to the colonial style of the place. . By making them look structured, it is important to contribute to solving this problem to allow the growth of the city and give greater flexibility to the buildings while respecting the standard. Therefore, this article contributes to the solution of the problem posed by designing a cultural facility such as a museum that is the transition between the colonial and modern context that mimics both morphologies. This is planned to be done by using the formal structure of a cloister, understood as an interior patio that functions as a computer element. The creation of a museum in this very historic place allows us to present something more than works within different spaces, it gives the possibility of contextualizing an element, without limiting it that generates a contrast between the new and the old, reinterpreting it.
