Propuesta para la optimización y gestión de la red del acueducto del Municipio de la Palma - Cundinamarca

Abstract

A lo largo de los años en Colombia se ha incrementado la necesidad de suplir los problemas relacionados con saneamiento y agua, es por esto necesario realizar análisis y estudios relacionados a al abastecimiento de esta en diferentes municipios del país. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo analizar y presentar una propuesta de optimización con un sistema de abastecimiento y una línea de conducción complementario para mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos de La Palma, Cundinamarca. Debido a que en la comunidad tiene un limitado servicio de agua potable, generando un impacto negativo a la sociedad tanto en salubridad, bienestar, economía, entre otros aspectos. Es aquí donde esta investigación pretende realizar un aporte adicional al proyecto regional que tiene el municipio, como propuesta para mejorar las condiciones actuales de suministro, se pensó en un diseño de un sistema adicional que junto al que ya se posee sea capaz de satisfacer de forma adecuada, eficiente y permanente las necesidades del sector. Finalmente, conociendo las características de la zona, recopilando información y usando herramientas de consulta se desarrolló el proyecto, con el fin de brindar una solución viable para el abastecimiento de agua en la cabecera municipal, con estructuras hidráulicas que se encargan de la captación, almacenamiento, tratamiento, conducción de una cantidad suficiente de agua cruda, cubriendo el déficit existente y distribución hasta la planta de tratamiento del municipio, garantizando un servicio óptimo para el abastecimiento de la población.

10 Abstract Over the years in Colombia the need to solve problems related to sanitation and water has increased, which is why it is necessary to carry out analysis and studies related to its supply in different municipalities of the country. This project aims to analyze and present an optimization proposal based on a supply system and complementary conduction line, which allows the inhabitants of La Palma to have better well-being and quality of life. Since in this community the drinking water service is limited, which has seriously affected the well-being, health, and economy of the community. Taking into account the above, this research aims to make contributions to the regional project of the municipality, with the purpose of improving the water supply, therefore it seeks to design an additional system that, hand in hand with the system that already exists, can satisfy efficient and permanently meet the needs of the community. Finally, taking into account the characteristics of the area, and after collecting information and consulting various sources, this project was developed, whose purpose is to provide a much more viable solution to the water supply in the municipality, using hydraulic structures in charge of capture, store, treat, and convey raw water, and thus cover the deficiency that exists in the distribution of water to the treatment plant, and guarantee an optimal service for the supply of the population.
