Propuesta Arquitectónica de un Centro Integral de Rescate, Rehabilitación y Entrenamiento de Animales Domésticos, en la Ciudad de Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

Actualmente existe una problemática social, qué se evidencia no solo en Colombia, si no en la mayoría de países del mundo, de manera muy especial y por situaciones de carácter cultural, Latinoamérica ha sido epicentro del abandono de animales domésticos, esto debido a la falta de políticas de control sobre los altos índices de natalidad. Conforme a esto, poder controlar de manera directa, la actual sobrepoblación de este tipo de animales ha sido un tema difícil. La legislación colombiana ha contemplado el bienestar animal y el alto índice de abandono, cómo una prioridad en el desarrollo social, la intervención de este tema. Debido a los problemas de salud pública, esto debido al abandono, pérdida y desatención gubernamental. En Colombia, la ciudad de Bogotá cuenta con una de las mayores cifras de abandono animal, respecto a otras ciudades con la misma situación, el abandono de animales domésticos. El abandono en Bogotá se evidencia, en todas las localidades de la ciudad, pero su presencia es mayor en Ciudad Bolívar, Usaquén, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Puente Aranda entre otros, siendo esta última el punto con mayor problema de abandono animal, y la presencia de animales con afectaciones en las basuras y demás daños en bien público en diferentes calles de la ciudad. Centro ARCA (Centro de Ayuda, Rehabilitación y Cuidado Animal) se propone como un equipamiento en el barrio Villa Inés ubicado en la localidad de Puente Aranda, donde se realicen campañas de esterilización siendo esto un tema de importancia para el control del crecimiento de la sobrepoblación animal, adopción ubicando y reubicando animales en hogares propicios para ellos, adicionalmente se prestan servicios médicos, servicios de adiestramiento y capacitación en la tenencia responsable de una mascota, con el fin de mitigar esta problemática y prevenir que otros animales tengan la misma situación a futuro.

The abandonment in Bogotá is evident, in all the localities of the city, but its presence is greater in Ciudad Bolívar, Usaquén, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Puente Aranda among others, the latter being the point with the greatest problems of animal abandonment, and the presence of animals with affectations in the garbage and other damages in public good in different streets of the city. ARCA Center (Center for Help, Rehabilitation and Animal Care) is proposed as an equipment in the Villa Inés neighborhood located in the town of Puente Aranda, where sterilization campaigns are carried out, this being an important issue for the control of the growth of animal overpopulation, adoption locating and relocating animals in homes conducive to them, in addition, medical services, training services and training in the responsible ownership of a pet are provided, in order to mitigate this problem and prevent other animals from having the same situation in the future.
