Déficit de ingenieros en la ciudad de Bogotá

Abstract

La educación superior es uno de los principales impulsores de la evolución de la sociedad, es así como invertir en educación es vital para garantizar un sistema socioeconómico próspero y competitivo. La educación superior tiene una alta responsabilidad con la sociedad al ser los encargados de preparar los profesionales del futuro, quienes por medio del desarrollo de competencias y habilidades logran el crecimiento económico, laboral, familiar, social, entre otros. Cuando un alumno desea elevar su preparación su opción es recurrir a la educación superior y contar con las mejores opciones que siempre será respaldo de buenas oportunidades laborales. Es así como en este trabajo indagaremos porque se general abandono en las carreras de ingeniera en una universidad de la ciudad de Bogotá, utilizando un diseño triangular concurrente (DITRIAC) en un enfoque Mixto analizando datos cualitativos y cuantitativos sobre nuestro problema de investigación.

Higher education is one of the main drivers of the evolution of society, this is how investing in education is vital to guarantee a prosperous and competitive socioeconomic system. Higher education has a high responsibility to society as they are in charge of preparing the professionals of the future, who through the development of skills and abilities achieve economic, labor, family, and social growth, among others. When a student wants to improve their preparation, their option is to resort to higher education and have the best options that will always be backed by good job opportunities. This is how in this work we will investigate why there is a general dropout in engineering careers at a university in the city of Bogotá, using a concurrent triangular design (DITRIAC) in a Mixed approach, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data on our research problem.
