Implicaciones negativas de la enseñanza quirúrgica virtual

Abstract

El escrito pretende dar razón de los modos que determinan la inviabilidad de una configuración del pensamiento crítico en entornos de enseñanza quirúrgica virtual. Se pretende así mismo examinar brevemente la interconexión que existe entre las funciones unitiva y sintética de la razón, a fin de comprender la estructuración de la dimensión de la creatividad y de la dimensión analítica, inherentes a todo pensamiento crítico. Por último, se explica la relevancia de la producción social del conocimiento en la configuración de dicho pensamiento crítico, producción que es desatendida por la práctica de enseñanza virtual en la asignatura de cirugía.

The writing aims to explain the ways that determine the infeasibility of a configuration of critical thinking in virtual surgical teaching environments. It is also intended to briefly examine the interconnection that arises between the unitive and synthetic functions of reason in order to understand the structuring of the dimension of creativity and the analytical dimension, inherent to all critical thinking. Finally, the relevance of the social production of knowledge in the configuration of said critical thinking is explained, the same production that is neglected by the practice of virtual teaching in the subject of surgery.
