Prácticas de enseñanza en derecho procesal penal en pregrado en una universidad privada de Bogotá en el año 2022

Abstract

La enseñanza del derecho en Colombia genera preocupaciones al observar que algunas facultades no extienden la formación de sus estudiantes como mínimo a cinco años, sino que drásticamente reducen el tiempo a tres años disminuyendo la intensidad horaria y los temas objeto de estudio. Uno de esos contenidos que reviste importancia en la carrera es el Derecho Penal y su materialización, la cual se logra a través del proceso penal, es decir, la puesta en escena de los conceptos que se tratan en la teoría del delito y que representan el ejercicio del abogado sobre la práctica; esto se aprende gracias a la cátedra de Derecho Procesal Penal que en la universidad escogida, dispone de tres créditos en el sétimo nivel antes llamado séptimo semestre, dentro de un total de ciento sesenta y cuatro créditos. A través de un examen sistemático de datos y a la aplicación de cuestionarios a un grupo de docentes y estudiantes se responde a la pregunta de investigación desde un enfoque cualitativo. De contera resta indicar que, habiéndose identificado las prácticas de enseñanza actuales en el currículo seleccionado, a posteriori en investigación venidera, se propondrán otras estrategias que optimicen la enseñanza de esta imprescindible materia.

The teaching of law in Colombia generates concerns when observing that some faculties do not extend the training of their students to at least five years, but drastically reduce the time to three years, decreasing the hourly intensity and the topics of study. One of those contents that is important in the career is Criminal Law and its materialization, which is achieved through the criminal process, that is to say, the staging of the concepts that are treated in the theory of crime and that represent the practice of the lawyer on the practice; this is learned thanks to the chair of Criminal Procedural Law that in the chosen university, has three credits in the seventh level before called seventh semester, within a total of one hundred and sixtyfour credits. Through a systematic examination of data and the application of questionnaires to a group of teachers and students, the research question is answered from a qualitative approach. In conclusion, it remains to indicate that, having identified the current teaching practices in the selected curriculum, a posteriori in future research, other strategies will be proposed to optimize the teaching of this essential subject.
