The objective of the present investigation was the assembly of a self-sustaining house, based on different innovative and eco-sustainable systems that allowed not only to be able to build in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way, but also to reflect considerable savings in the use of energy and traditional building systems. The self-sustaining house consists of four systems: first, the Steel framing, which is a resistant structure, flexible in design, quick to build, economical, energy-saving, durable and has thermo-acoustic characteristics. In the second instance, the solar panels, an energy saving system, which contemplate a useful life of 25 years on average. Likewise, this system was used due to the location of the house, where it allows obtaining solar energy, which will supply all the energy that is needed. On the other hand, there is a water filter, this water recycling system allows gray water to have the optimal characteristics for its conventional use, in addition to offering a duration and fundamental savings in water consumption. Lastly, the Canadian well is the most innovative of the four systems, the purpose of which is to considerably save electrical energy in the home, using geothermal energy and totally eliminating the use of fans and air conditioners for heating or cooling the interior of the house. living place. Among the most relevant results, significant savings were found with respect to household electrical energy and water consumption, construction and self-sustaining systems in the short, medium and long term, which motivates the purchase and construction of this type of housing in a present and future.en
