Modelo de cogestión para la integración urbana y calidad de vida en el Asentamiento informal “Villa Pingüino”, Municipio de Vista Hermosa-Meta

Abstract

En el Municipio de Vista Hermosa se evidencia la existencia de déficit cuantitativo de viviendas en un 11,78% y un déficit cualitativo del 49,75%,(DANE, 2005) sin el acceso a servicios básicos y a un hábitat con garantías dignas para la población en general, desde hace aproximadamente 6 años, debido al fenómeno de inmigración de familias en condiciones de vulnerabilidad y la llegada de personas desplazadas del sector rural por la violencia. De lo anterior, aproximadamente hace 10 años, se viene presentando la expansión de asentamientos informales, donde se evidencia deficientes condiciones de calidad de vida y derecho a la ciudad en el asentamiento informal de Villa Pingüino. El enfoque de la línea de investigación de Población y Bienestar denota que la gestión urbana sea una necesidad que permite mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del asentamiento informal de Villa Pingüino a través de la implementación de un modelo de cogestión donde la comunidad adopte un enfoque inclusivo hacia la mejora de sus condiciones de vida que lleve a cambios socioculturales dirigidos a formar una sociedad basada en derechos para todos.

In the Municipality of Vista Hermosa there is evidence of a quantitative housing deficit of 11.78% and a qualitative deficit of 49.75%, (DANE, 2005) without access to basic services and a habitat with decent guarantees for the population in general, for approximately 6 years, due to the phenomenon of immigration of families in vulnerable conditions and the arrival of people displaced from the rural sector due to violence. From the above, approximately 10 years ago, there has been the expansion of informal settlements, where there is evidence of poor quality of life conditions and the right to the city in the informal settlement of Villa Pingüino. The focus of the Population and Well-being research line indicates that urban management is a necessity that allows improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the informal settlement of Villa Pingüino through the implementation of a co-management model where the community adopts a inclusive approach towards improving their living conditions that leads to sociocultural changes aimed at forming a society based on rights for all.
