Aprovechamiento del Predio “El Porvenir” en Garzón (Huila) para la Siembra y Cultivo de Arándanos

Abstract

El predio “El Porvenir”, ubicado en el municipio de Garzón (Huila), es un terreno que actualmente no se utiliza para la siembra y cultivo de alimentos, desaprovechando la oportunidad de obtener ingresos para el dueño del predio y para la comunidad de la región, al no generar empleos. Los gestores del proyecto le mostraron al dueño del predio la oportunidad de recuperar y adecuar el terreno para la siembra y cultivo de un fruto diferente al café que se cosecha comúnmente en la región. En la búsqueda de un fruto que se adaptara al clima de la región y además fuera llamativo para los comerciantes se llegó al arándano, un fruto apetecido por los consumidores por su poder nutricional.

The property "El Porvenir", located in the municipality of Garzón (Huila), is a land that is currently not used for planting and growing food, wasting the opportunity to obtain income for the owner of the property and for the community of the region, by not generating jobs. The project managers showed the owner of the property the opportunity to recover and adapt the land for the planting and cultivation of a different fruit than the coffee that is commonly harvested in the region. In the search for a fruit that would adapt to the region's climate and also be attractive to merchants, the blueberry was reached, a fruit desired by consumers for its nutritional power.
