Estudio de las condiciones actuales y propuesta de mejoramiento del acueducto El Líbano, vereda El Hato, municipio de La Calera

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como finalidad realizar un estudio de las condiciones actuales, características y estado del Acueducto Veredal El Líbano, ubicado en el área rural del municipio de La Calera, Cundinamarca. La Calera cuenta con 48 nacimientos de agua, los cuales abastecen a las comunidades rurales,y 56 quebradas que son afluentes de los ríos principales que abastecen a más del 60% de los acueductos veredales. Este municipio tiene buenos recursos hídricos, pero posee problemas de contaminación en muchas de sus quebradas, dado al mal manejo de los desechosdomésticos, presencia de residuos industriales y agroquímicos. Para el año 2015 el municipiocontaba con 58 acueductos rurales, de estos acueductos solo 10 cuentan con planta de tratamiento en funcionamiento en algunas fuentes hídricas. El objetivo de esta investigación es realizar el diagnostico de las condiciones actuales del acueducto que abastece a la vereda El Hato, con el fin de formular una propuesta de mejoramiento para el acueducto El Líbano, que permita elevar los niveles de confort que la comunidad tiene con la calidad del agua, en cuanto al consumo y transporte del recurso hídrico, proponiendo consideraciones para un mantenimiento regular que conserve el correcto funcionamiento del acueducto. Como resultado de este trabajo de investigación, se realizó la calificación IRCA, y se obtuvoque la calidad del agua potable distribuida a los habitantes de la vereda El Hato del municipiode La Calera, no se encuentra en óptimas condiciones por ende no es apta para consumo humano, por ende, se realizan diversas recomendaciones para el óptimo tratamiento del agua del acueducto y de la infraestructura.

The purpose of this research work was to conduct a study of the current conditions, characteristics, and status of the Veredal Aqueduct the Líbano, located in the rural area of the municipality of the Calera, Cundinamarca. The Calera has 48 water sources, which supply the rural communities, and 56 streams that are tributaries of the main rivers that supply more than 60% of the rural aqueducts. This municipality has good water resources, but has pollution problems in many of its streams due to poor management of domestic waste, industrial waste, and agrochemicals. For the year 2015 the municipality had 58 rural aqueducts, of these aqueducts only 10 have treatment plant in operation in some water sources. The objective of this research is to make a diagnosis of the current conditions of the aqueductthat supplies the Hato village, in order to formulate an improvement proposal for the Libanoaqueduct that allows raising the levels of comfort that the community has with the quality of water, in terms of consumption and transport of water resources, proposing considerations for regular maintenance that preserves the proper functioning of the aqueduct. As a result of this research work, the IRCA qualification was carried out, and it was obtainedthat the quality of drinking water distributed to the inhabitants of the Hato district of the municipality of the Calera, is not in optimal conditions and therefore is not suitable for humanconsumption, therefore, several recommendations are made for the optimal treatment of theaqueduct water and infrastructure.
