Migración de Aplicaciones Lift and Shift a la Nube en el Banco de Occidente - Fase 1

Abstract

El alcance del proyecto consta de migrar a la nube las aplicaciones Lift and Shift en el Banco de Occidente. Se realizará un estudio previo donde se clasificarán las aplicaciones que son aptas para la primera fase de la migración, con el objetivo de optimizar la infraestructura tecnológica y bajar los costos operativos que actualmente se tienen y superan el estándar de las entidades financieras. Como supuestos principales el cronograma del proyecto fue definido para ser completado en 40 semanas correspondientes al año 2021 para esta primera fase y como resultado final se espera tener la adopción en la nube de las aplicaciones que sean aptas. En cuanto a algunos de los riesgos del proyecto, se tiene el operacional, no contar con las herramientas de conexión remota y de salubridad, enfermedades contagiosas y/o pandemia que cause ausentismo en los funcionarios que laboran para el proyecto. Por último y no menos importante, se tiene el costo estimado del proyecto es cual es de COP 4.100’000.000.

The scope of the project consists of migrating the applications in Banco de Occidente to the cloud. A preliminary study will be carried out where the applications that are suitable for the first phase of the migration will be classified, with the aim of optimizing the technological infrastructure and lowering the operating costs that currently exist and exceed the standard of financial entities. As main assumptions, the project schedule was defined to be completed in 40 weeks corresponding to the year 2021 for this first phase, and as a final result it is expected to have the cloud adoption of the applications that are suitable. As for some of the risks of the project, there is the operational one, not having the remote connection and health tools, contagious diseases and/or a pandemic that causes absenteeism in the officials who work for the project. Last but not least, the estimated cost of the project is COP 4.100’000,000.
