Caso Forense: Fuga de Datos Segunda Parte

Abstract

La informática forense es una ciencia multidisciplinar que se encarga de estudiar los ataques y abusos cometidos a los sistemas de información y las redes de telecomunicación, estos ataques han existido desde los inicios de la era tecnológica y, en consecuencia, esta misma evolución, ha provocado nuevos modus operandi de los delincuentes cibernéticos donde la información es el objetivo clave para ellos. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, este documento evidenciará el análisis y el estudio de la segunda parte del caso Fuga de Datos ocurrido en la empresa internacional OOO de desarrollo tecnológico de dispositivos de última generación, donde el señor Iaman Informant que trabajaba como jefe del área de desarrollo tecnológico, diseñó una estrategia para transferir archivos confidenciales a un empleado de una empresa rival. Inicialmente, estos dos trabajadores organizan un encuentro en donde establecen los detalles de la operación que realizaría Iaman Informan. En este acuerdo, el señor Informant ganaría una gran suma de dinero a cambio de filtrarle información a Spy Conspirator, sobre los últimos proyectos que estaba llevando a cabo la empresa, además, los transferiría por medio de diferentes redes de comunicación virtual y haciendo uso de algunos dispositivos de almacenamiento físicos, violando la seguridad y las normas de confidencialidad que la empresa manejaba internamente. Iaman Informant acepta y prepara una estrategia para lograr su cometido intentando quedar impune luego de cometer estas acciones. Se observará el estudio, la investigación y el análisis llevados a cabo de todas las actividades realizadas por el señor Iaman Informant durante los dos últimos días de los hechos.

Computer forensics is a multidisciplinary science that is responsible for studying the attacks and abuses committed on information systems and telecommunication networks. These attacks have existed since the beginning of the technological era and, consequently, this same evolution has caused new modus operandi of cybercriminals where information is the key objective for them. Taking into account the above, this document will evidence the analysis and study of the second part of the Data Leakage case that occurred in the international company OOO for the technological development of next-generation devices, where Mr. Iaman Informant, who worked as head of the technological development, devised a strategy to transfer confidential files to an employee of a rival company. Initially, these two workers organize a meeting where they establish the details of the operation that Iaman Informan would carry out. In this agreement, Mr. Informant would earn a large sum of money in exchange for leaking information to Spy Conspirator, about the latest projects that the company was carrying out, in addition, he would transfer them through different virtual communication networks and making use of some physical storage devices, violating the security and confidentiality rules that the company managed internally. Iaman Informant accepts and prepares a strategy to achieve his goal by trying to go unpunished after committing these actions. The study, investigation and analysis carried out on all the activities carried out by Mr. Iaman Informant during the last two days of the events will be observed.
