La gestión de la infraestructura verde urbana en la ciudad de Villavicencio.

Abstract

La sostenibilidad de las ciudades cuya concentración poblacional se centra en las cabeceras municipales generando impactos ambientales en la calidad del aire, ruido, vertimientos, residuos sólidos, urbanización desorganizada y generación de islas de calor. Por lo tanto, dentro del concepto de ciudades sostenibles se deben buscar aquellos instrumentos de gestión que logren tener un impacto positivo en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida urbana, tales como la inclusión de la gestión de la Infraestructura verde urbana con criterios de justicia ambiental; teniendo como instrumento primario el plan de ornato, el cual se puede constituir en una herramienta para una adecuada gestión de la infraestructura verde urbana de la ciudad de Villavicencio. Es así como mediante un exhaustivo análisis y gestión del arbolado urbano, se suministrará a los habitantes de la ciudad de Villavicencio elementos para la gestión y mejoramiento del entorno donde habitan a nivel ambiental, social y psicológico.

The sustainability of cities whose population concentration is centered in the municipal capitals generates environmental impacts on air quality, noise, dumping, solid waste, disorganized urbanization and generation of heat islands. Therefore, within the concept of sustainable cities, those management instruments that achieve a positive impact on improving the quality of urban life should be sought, such as the inclusion of the management of urban green infrastructure with environmental justice criteria.; having as primary instrument the decoration plan, which can become a tool for an adequate management of the urban green infrastructure of the city of Villavicencio. Thus, through an exhaustive analysis and management of urban trees, the inhabitants of the city of Villavicencio will be supplied with elements for the management and improvement of the environment where they live on an environmental, social, and psychological level.
