Expansión territorial y periurbanización en Tunja - Boyacá

Abstract

La presente investigación parte de la articulación de estrategias del desarrollo territorial, junto con el proceso de expansión que se genera de manera puntual en la zona norte de la ciudad de Tunja, analizando en la escala local con visión regional para el caso de los posibles efectos generados en los municipios cercanos. En esta investigación los conceptos de territorio y periurbanización son fundamentales ya que es allí donde se presentan diferentes dinámicas de crecimiento y expansión urbana, allí se analizan los cambios y transformaciones del área de estudio y los efectos generados en la población. De esta manera el objetivo principal de esta investigación es analizar los procesos de desarrollo territorial, para que así contribuyan en la construcción sostenible de la ciudad y la región. Es así como también al desarrollar esta investigación, se pone en evidencia la necesidad de concebir mejoras profundas en la gestión del territorio y más en una ciudad como Tunja, ya que esta presta servicios primarios a las poblaciones vecinas, que no solo desestabilizan su territorio sino también los municipios adyacentes que resalta la carente gestión urbana sostenible y la poca visión regional, es así como en la zona de interés, se puede decir que, el desarrollo de la ciudad no ha sido integral y equilibrado, lo que ha ocasionado una expansión desmedida, una segregación espacial y otros grandes problemas territoriales. La presente investigación tiene como finalidad aportar al desarrollo territorial regional mediante el análisis de los procesos de Periurbanización en la ciudad de Tunja.

This investigation have a articulation of territorial development strategies with the expansion process that is generated in a specific way in the north of the city of Tunja, analyzing in a local scale with a regional vision for the case of possible effects generated in the municipalities of Cómbita and Oicatá in the department of Boyacá. In this investigation, the concepts of: territory and peri-urbanization are fundamental because there is where different dynamics of growth and urban expansion occur, where the changes and transformations of the study area (rural) and the effects generated in the settled population are analyzed . In this way, the main objective of this investigation is analyzing the processes of territorial development from the research, so in this way they contribute to the sustainable construction of the city of Tunja and the region. This research work is developed by applying some practical tools and methodologies with different strategies and analysis techniques of the current problem in the border area. All of this to analyze and contrast the theories, cartographies and interviews, where different causative factors of the phenomenon under study are identified, also as evidenced by the needs to conceive profound improvements in the management of the territory in a city like Tunja. that it provides primary services to neighboring populations, which not only destabilize their territory but also adjacent municipalities. Tunja until a few years ago has been consolidating from ignorance of sustainable urban territorial management and even less with a regional vision, this reflected the current state in which the area of interest is evident, where it can also be said that: the expansion of The city has not taken into account the social, cultural, environmental, economic and mobility development of the local and departmental administration, which has generated as a consequence an unbalanced city in the aspects described above, which has caused an expansion excessive, spatial segregation and extremely high costs to cover home services, public spaces, as well as some environmental impacts. The present investigation has as aims contribute to territorial development through the analysis of possible processes of Periurbanization in the city of Tunja, determined by each characteristic in the growth of the territory and its variations in the dynamics of the region.
