Integración del ser humano con el entorno natural a través de cualidades paisajísticas del río Chicu

Abstract

El río Chicú es un componente natural de gran importancia, que la planificación urbana no ha sabido integrar, que, aunque se configura como parte del elemento estructural del tejido urbano, no hay un acercamiento con el afluente ya que los habitantes no lo perciben ni le dan el valor que éste representa para el ecosistema, aunque existan normas que regulan la protección y la conservación de estos elementos naturales, los entes gubernamentales no demuestran interés al no dar les prioridad en sus planes de desarrollo, es por ello que a través del reconocimiento del territorio, mediante la metodología de transecto, la valoración subjetiva del paisaje y la identificación de zonas de riesgo, vulnerabilidad y amenaza, se propone un proyecto sensible para la integración del entorno natural con los habitantes, planteado a partir de cuatro patrones o segmentos obtenidos por medio de las características particulares del lugar, como son: río en área rural, río en área urbana, río en área en desarrollo de expansión, y por último, río y producción agrícola; dónde se busca recuperar la ronda hídrica, por medio de instrumentos arquitectónicos, que se conectan a través de un sendero, zonas para la contemplación y esparcimiento pasivo, los cuales cumplen con una funcionalidad paisajística. Reflexionando en la importancia de la arquitectura para la apreciación de este entorno frágil y vulnerable ante la actividad del ser humano.

Reflecting on the importance of architecture for the appreciation of this fragile environment and vulnerable to human activity.
