Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación es una propuesta para potencializar los atractivos turísticos en su historia, cultura, arte y gastronomía sanmartinense por medio de soluciones prácticas en la implementación de un Centro cultural, basándose en urbanistas como Jane Jacobs, Jan Gelh y Jordi Borja que plantean un urbanismo para la gente, con espacios habitables, que invitan a recorrer y disfrutar del espacio público, dando seguridad a partir de la arquitectura. Lo anterior, busca cerrar un capítulo en San Martín marcado por la violencia que afectó por mucho tiempo al municipio, dejando grandes cicatrices en los corazones de los sanmartinenses, afectando su desarrollo, economía e inclusive su reputación. Esta propuesta busca mejorar las condiciones urbanísticas y culturales de San Martín, sacando a relucir su historia por medio de la arquitectura, articulando el municipio con el Centro Cultural aportando a la economía por medio del turismo.

This research work is a proposal to enhance the tourist attractions in its history, culture, art and gastronomy of San Martín, by means of practical solutions in the implementation of a cultural center, based on urban planners like as Jane Jacobs, Jan Gelh and Jordi Borja who propose urban planning for people, with habitable spaces, which invite travel and enjoy the public space giving security from the architecture, the foregoing seeks to close a chapter in San Martín marked by the violence that affected the municipality for a long time, leaving large scars in the hearts of the people of San Martín, affecting their development, economy and even their reputation. This proposal seeks to improve the urban and cultural conditions of San Martín, bringing out its history through architecture, linking the municipality with the Cultural Center, contributing to the economy through tourism.
