Centro de convenciones multifuncional: "La arquitectura como plataforma de innovación e integración"

Abstract

El Centro de Convenciones el Alcaraván está ubicado en la ciudad de Villavicencio, se proyecta como un equipamiento de escala regional para atender las necesidades de los sectores públicos y privados de la región de la Orinoquia colombiana, el proyecto incentivará la integración de los actores que conforman la ciudad y sirve de plataforma para la innovación y fomento de la competitividad regional. El proyecto propulsará una nueva centralidad en la ciudad que pueda mitigar las necesidades de espacio público que genera el proyecto y el centro de actividades culturales de la ciudad; con una visión a largo plazo el Centro de Convenciones el Alcaraván incentivara la integración cultural, empresarial, académica de la ciudad. Promoviendo la transformación no solo del sector de la ciudad donde se implanta, a su vez transforma la ciudad en un espacio más integro y competitivo con una mirada regional, generando espacios de colectividad con inflexión social y convergencia entre actores propulsores de ciudad, proporcionando por medio de la estética arquitectónica, aportando al derecho de ciudad mediante integraciones armónicas con lo urbano para evitar impactos negativos del proyecto. El Centro de Convenciones tiene como objetivo ser sustentable, icónico en la región y aportar una carga estética que se vincule con elementos naturales del paisaje y se convierta en símbolo arquitectónico y monumental.

The Alcavaran Convention Center located in the city of Villavicencio, is projected as a public building of regional scale to satisfy the necessities of the public and private sector of the Colombian Orinoquia Region, the project will work as an stimulant for the integration of the actor that play a key role in the city, it will also work as a new platform for innovation and to promote the regional competitions. The project will boost a new centrality in the city that will be able to ease the need for public spaces generated by the project and the center of cultural activities of the city; with a long term vision El Alcaravan Convention Center will encourage the cultural, business and academic integration, working as a platform of innovation for the region and the city. Fostering the transformation not only of the sector of the city where is located, it transforms the city into an space more complete and competitive; with a regional perspective, generating community spaces with social inflection and convergence between the driving forces of the city, providing through architectural aesthetics, contributing to the right of the city through harmonious integrations with the urban to avoid negative impacts on the project. The objective of the Convention Center is to be sustainable, iconic in the region and provide an aesthetic charge that is linked to natural elements of the landscape and becomes an architectural and monumental landmark.
