Renovación de diseño urbano, sector Ciénaga de la Virgen, Cartagena de Indias

Abstract

Por más de 10 años en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias no se concluyeron proyectos como la vía perimetral, que tenía como fin articular la malla vial nacional al conectar dos importantes vías en la Costa Atlántica: La Carretera de la Cordialidad en la intersección con la Variante de Cartagena y la Carretera Vía al Mar, además de ser una barrera para la Ciénega e impedir así la invasión que se presenta actualmente en esta, por esto y por ser un barrio marginado socialmente se plantea una intervención de diseño urbano del borde de la Ciénaga, la cual contempla la reubicación de la vivienda generando un prototipo adecuado para la zona, la reforestación del mangle y zonas verdes ya que el ecosistema de la Ciénaga es el que cuenta con mas especies de aves en América del sur y del caribe, un diseño de espacio publico sin ser abrasivo con la naturaleza, la continuación de la vía para articularla con la ciudad e impedir el crecimiento hacia el cuerpo de agua y la inclusión de equipamientos y zonas recreativas ubicados con base en el concepto de Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior el proyecto busca dar la oportunidad a los habitantes del sector de tener un espacio digno y adecuado para recrearse, compartir, circular y hacer sus actividades diarias sin tener que salir de la zona, además de generar un nuevo atractivo turístico para la ciudad y así lograr una inclusión social del sector con esta.
