Evaluación de la disponibilidad hídrica y calidad del agua superficial del acueducto veredal “Los Tanques” en la vereda de San Isidro, Cómbita Boyacá

Abstract

El presente proyecto se enmarca en un estudio cualitativo y cuantitativo del acueducto veredal denominado “Los Tanques”, del municipio de Cómbita – Boyacá, debido a que esté presenta una problemática medio ambiental y social, en una zona de alto interés por el crecimiento de su población, lo que justifica los procesos respecto a la gestión sostenible del territorio y la línea de aguas. Con base en lo mencionado anteriormente, se realiza este proyecto de investigación que consiste en un diagnóstico del estado actual del recurso hídrico y cantidades suministradas por el acueducto veredal “Los Tanques” ubicado en la vereda San Isidro, Cómbita Boyacá, con el fin de evaluar si es apto para el consumo humano y en caso de no ser así realizar una propuesta de mejoramiento con el fin de mitigar el riesgo de salubridad en la población. Para realizar una buena caracterización del área de estudio se realizan visitas de campo donde se entrevistó a la comunidad, funcionarios de Servicios Públicos Domiciliarios de Cómbita Boyacá y demás personal involucrado de la Alcaldía municipal de Cómbita , Boyacá; adicionalmente se toman pruebas de presiones y se recolectan muestras del recurso hídrico para realizar un estudio de caracterización físico químico del agua que se analizan en los laboratorios de la Universidad Piloto de Colombia. Dentro de este proyecto de investigación se obtuvo que el recurso hídrico no se cuenta con la mejor calidad, debido a que no se realiza ningún tratamiento para potabilizar el agua, adicionalmente la infraestructura que conforma dicho acueducto se encuentra en muy malas condiciones, teniendo esto repercusiones en la calidad del agua que llega a las residencias. Adicionalmente se encontró que no cuenta con ningún plano de la red hídrica de abastecimiento, hay tramos donde no se conoce exactamente por donde pasa la tubería, aunque el acueducto actualmente brinda el servicio sin suspensión. Se recomienda para su óptimo funcionamiento realizar un mantenimiento y adecuación de las estructuras existentes en la bocatoma, así mismo, realizar un tratamiento de agua por medio de una planta de tratamiento con el fin de mejorar el IRCA.

This project is part of a qualitative and quantitative study of the village aqueduct called "Los Tanques", of the municipality of Cómbita - Boyacá, due to the fact that it presents an environmental and social problem, in an area of high interest due to the growth of its population, which justifies the processes regarding the sustainable management of the territory and the water line. Based on the above, this research project is carried out, and now we can make a diagnosis of the current state of the water resource and quantities supplied by the “Los Tanques” local aqueduct located in the San Isidro village, Cómbita Boyacá, in order to assess whether It is suitable for human consumption and if not, make an improvement proposal in order to mitigate the health risk in the population. To make a good characterization of the study area, field visits are carried out where the community, officials from the Cómbita Boyacá Residential Public Services and other personnel involved from the Cómbita, Boyacá municipal mayor's office were interviewed; additionally, pressure tests are taken, and samples of the water resource are collected to carry out a study of physical-chemical characterization of the water that are analyzed in the laboratories of the Universidad Piloto de Colombia. Within this research project, it was obtained that the water resource does not have the best quality, because no treatment is carried out to make the water drinkable, additionally the infrastructure that makes up this aqueduct is in very poor condition, having repercussions in the quality of the water that reaches the residences. Additionally, it was found that it does not have any plan of the water supply network, there are sections where it is not known exactly where the pipeline passes, although the aqueduct currently provides the service without suspension. It is recommended for its optimal operation to carry out maintenance and adaptation of the existing structures in the intake, likewise, to carry out a water treatment through a treatment plant in order to improve the IRCA
