Viabilidad de una cooperativa agropecuaria para la producción de Tilapia en el municipio de Viotá

Abstract

La economía colombiana históricamente ha estado orientada a actividades del sector primario, siendo el ámbito agropecuario de suma importancia para el país. Dentro de lo agropecuario está a su vez la piscicultura y la acuicultura (o acuacultura) que son actividades económicas que cuentan con apoyos por parte del gobierno, que busca fortalecer aún más esta rama de la producción nacional que tiene impacto económico y social. En este contexto existe la oportunidad de llevar a cabo la conformación de una, o varias, cooperativas que integren a familias que no cuentan con la capacidad financiera para montar un negocio propio, siendo esta la mayor herramienta para generar un enorme impacto en la sociedad donde se ejecute este tipo de proyectos. Este trabajo es un estudio de viabilidad y factibilidad sobre un proyecto de acuicultura local, que da recomendaciones en la implementación de una cooperativa dedicada a la producción de tilapia en Colombia, tomando la población de Viotá (Cundinamarca) como un punto de referencia.

Historically the Colombian economy has been oriented to activities in the primary sector, the agricultural sector is therefore one of the most important for the country. In agriculture there is also fish farming and aquaculture, which are economic activities that have the support of the government, which seeks to further strengthen this branch of national production that has economic and social impact. In this context, there is the opportunity to carry out the formation of one, or several, cooperatives that integrate families that do not have the financial capacity to start their own business, this being the greatest tool to generate a huge impact on the society where this type of project is executed. This work is a feasibility study of a local aquaculture project, which gives recommendations for the implementation of a cooperative dedicated to the production of tilapia in Colombia, taking the population of Viotá (Cundinamarca) as a reference.
