<title>Movilidad urbana y desarrollo sostenible en el Meridiano Meridional y Oriental</title>
<link>http://repository.unipiloto.edu.co/handle/20.500.12277/8328</link>
<description>Movilidad urbana y desarrollo sostenible en el Meridiano Meridional y Oriental
Le Tellier, Julien; Moreno, Carlos A.
En un contexto de rápida urbanización en los países del Mediterráneo Meridional y Mediterráneo&#13;
Oriental (SEMC por sus siglas en inglés), la movilidad urbana es un tema crucial&#13;
en términos de desarrollo sostenible. Siguiendo las recomendaciones de la Estrategia&#13;
Mediterránea para el Desarrollo Sostenible adoptada en 2005 por 21 Estados ribereños&#13;
y la Comunidad Europea como Partes Contratantes a la Convención de Barcelona, el&#13;
Plan Bleu (uno de los centros de actividad regional del PNUMA/MAP) está orientado&#13;
a temas de la movilidad urbana sostenible por medio de seis estudios de caso en las&#13;
aglomeraciones del SEMC: Aleppo (Siria), Alger (Argelia), El Cairo (Egipto), Estambul&#13;
(Turquía), Tánger (Marruecos) y Túnez (Túnez). Este ensayo resume algunos resultados y&#13;
recomendaciones de los estudios de caso.

<title>Urban mobility and sustainable development in the southern and Easthen Mediterranean</title>
<link>http://repository.unipiloto.edu.co/handle/20.500.12277/8327</link>
<description>Urban mobility and sustainable development in the southern and Easthen Mediterranean
Le Tellier, Julien
In a context of rapid urbanisation in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries&#13;
(SEMCs), urban mobility is a crucial issue in terms of sustainable development. Following&#13;
the recommendations of the Mediterranean Strategy for Sustainable Development&#13;
adopted in 2005 by the 21 riparian States and the European Community as Contracting&#13;
Parties to the Barcelona Convention, Plan Bleu (one of the regional activity centres of the&#13;
UNEP/MAP) addressed the issue of sustainable urban mobility by carrying out six case&#13;
studies in SEMCs’ agglomerations: Aleppo (Syria), Algiers (Algeria), Cairo (Egypt), Istanbul&#13;
(Turkey), Tangiers (Morocco), and Tunis (Tunisia). This essay summarises outcomes&#13;
and recommendations of the case studies.

<title>La percepción del automóvil en América Latina</title>
<link>http://repository.unipiloto.edu.co/handle/20.500.12277/8326</link>
<description>La percepción del automóvil en América Latina
Pardo, Carlos Felipe
El artículo busca profundizar en los temas relacionados con la forma como el automóvil&#13;
se percibe en América Latina, con miras a informar la discusión sobre las formas potenciales&#13;
de promover el transporte sostenible. Se describe la forma como se ha percibido&#13;
dicho vehículo y los demás, pasando luego por la descripción de la forma como se entiende&#13;
el cambio modal (hacia el automóvil) como algo positivo y aspiracional. Luego se&#13;
describen los diferentes esfuerzos por parte de la industria del automóvil por consolidar&#13;
dicha visión, y se termina con un análisis sobre cómo se podría mejorar la promoción&#13;
del transporte sostenible.
