Nuevos desafíos en seguridad para 5G

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objeto revisar las características principales de la Quinta Generación de Redes móviles, así como sus ventajas sobre las de 4G y la virtualización de redes, que va de la mano con herramientas como NFV y SDN para poder evidenciar la necesidad de tener seguridad en estas nuevas tecnologías. En la actualidad, el consumo de tecnología tiene mayor fuerza y así como el internet de las cosas adquiere relevancia con el paso del tiempo, como la necesidad tecnológica es una constate demanda a los fabricantes de tecnología; 5G subirá la velocidad de carga y descarga de información, bajará la latencia de la red, es decir, las respuestas de la red móvil serán más rápidas y tendrá mayor capacidad para generar conexión por área de cobertura, orientado a las IoT (Internet de las cosas) de manera confiable y segura, 5G llega con nuevos conceptos a nivel tecnológico, como las redes configuradas por software y el concepto de virtualización de red móvil como NFV, que optimiza sus funciones con el uso de servidores y aplicativos en la nube, cambiando el concepto de Core Móvil, al migrar a una solución web como elemento de red, haciendo de este un servicio más controlado y automatizando para su gestión, además de permitir cambios de forma más rápida y eficiente. Este artículo tiene dos enfoques, 5G y la virtualización de la red móvil. Por tanto, este documento proporciona una visión general de los desafíos de seguridad en las nubes, las redes definidas por software y la virtualización de funciones de red, y los desafíos de la privacidad del usuario. De ahora en adelante, este artículo presenta soluciones a estos desafíos y direcciones futuras para sistemas 5G seguros.

This article aims to evaluate the main characteristics of the Fifth Generation of Mobile Networks, as well as its advantages over 4G and network virtualization, which goes hand in hand with tools such as NFV and SDN to be able to demonstrate the need to have Security in these new technologies. At present, the consumption of technology has greater force and as the Internet of things acquires relevance over time, as technological need is a constant demand for technology manufacturers. 5G will increase the speed of loading and unloading of information, lower the latency of the network, that is, the responses of the mobile network will be faster and will have greater capacity to generate connection by coverage area, oriented to the IoT (Internet of things ) in a reliable and secure way, 5G arrives with new concepts at the technological level, such as softwareconfigured networks and the concept of mobile network virtualization such as NFV, which optimizes its functions with the use of servers and applications in the cloud, changing the Core Mobile concept, migrate to a web solution as a network element, make this a more controlled service and automate for its management, in addition to allowing changes more quickly and efficiently. This article has two approaches, 5G and virtualization of the mobile network. Therefore, this document provides an overview of cloud security challenges, software-defined networks and virtualization of network functions, and user privacy challenges. From now on, this article presents solutions to these challenges and future directions for secure 5G systems.
