The Dualism between Thought and Extension was identified as the origin of the incompatibility between the Phenomenological and Neuroscientific traditions when they are applied to architecture, as it has been done in Juhani Pallasmaa’s writings before 2016, a hermeneutical methodology lead this Master’s dissertation to this conclusion, by stablishing an outline of the terms of the debate of Neuroarchitecture and Phenomenology, and recognizing their background leading to the understanding of the origin of the gap. The result of this process allowed achieving the objective that was to go upstream looking for the origin of the incompatibility between the Phenomenological and Neuroscientific traditions.es
