Estudio de las patologías del concreto rígido en proyectos de infraestructura vial sometido a ataques químicos por lixiviados

Abstract

La exposición del concreto a ataques químicos producto de la descomposición de residuos orgánicos (lixiviados) genera una degradación del concreto que se caracteriza por la corrosión de la matriz cementante, aspectos que son tratados en este estudio por medio de la experimentación en el proyecto de la malla vial interna de la Central de Abastos de Bogotá. Para ello, se consideró el análisis de las normas que establecen la durabilidad del concreto, ensayos especializados con el fin de identificar la causa de las patologías, el análisis del agente agresor y la evaluación del daño del concreto. Así mismo, esta investigación plantea algunas recomendaciones que permitan mitigar la afectación del concreto bajo las dimensiones social, ambiental y económica.

The exposure of concrete to chemical attacks resulting from the decomposition of organic waste (leachates) generates a degradation of the concrete that is characterized by the corrosion of the cementitious matrix, aspects that are treated in this study through experimentation in the project of the internal road mesh of the Bogotá Supply Central. For this, the analysis of the standards that establish the durability of concrete, specialized tests in order to identify the cause of the pathologies, the analysis of the offending agent and the evaluation of the damage to the concrete were considered. Likewise, this research proposes some recommendations that allow mitigating the impact of concrete under the social, environmental and economic dimensions.
