Evaluación, diseño y propuestas de mejoras en equipos terminales de telecomunicaciones para uso del programa de Compartel que sean de bajo costo y fácil implementación

Abstract

La tecnología satelital utiliza las Redes Vsat, las cuales gracias a la cobertura de la huella satelital presentan la característica que no tienen limitantes geográficos y que puede por lo tanto adaptarse en la accidentada topografía colombiana. No ocurre lo mismo con otras tecnologías (ADSL y FRAME RALEY) que están soportadas por medios guiados. Sobre los terminales Vsat se enfatizó para buscar soluciones técnicas que permitieran un mejor desempeño de Compartel. Después de examinar diferentes componentes se pudo establecer que es posible realizar una mejora sobre los equipos de radio frecuencia RF, orientados a potenciar los LNA (amplificadores de bajo ruido) con el fin mejorar la relación señal a ruido (S/N).

The satellite technology uses the Vsat Networks, which, thanks to the coverage of the satellite footprint, have the characteristic that they do not have geographical limitations and can therefore be adapted to the rugged Colombian topography. The same is not the case with other technologies (ADSL and FRAME RALEY) that are supported by guided means. On the Vsat terminals, emphasis was placed on seeking technical solutions that would allow for better Compartel performance. After examining different components, it was established that it is possible to make an improvement on RF radio frequency equipment, aimed at enhancing LNAs (low noise amplifiers) in order to improve the signal to noise ratio (S / N).
