Caracterización de las variables socioeconómicas de Honduras: oportunidades de negocio dentro del TLC entre el triángulo de norte y Colombia

Abstract

Con el objetivo de señalar las oportunidades de negocio que pueden obtener las empresas y los inversionistas colombianos en el crecimiento de las exportaciones hacia honduras y el aprovisionamiento de materias primas provenientes de allí, se hace una exploración para caracterizar de manera muy precisa a Honduras, uno de los países que hace parte del Triángulo del Norte, un bloque económico con el que Colombia firmo un tratado en el 2006 con el fin de mejorar sus relaciones comerciales. Dentro de esta investigación se encuentran las principales generalidades de Honduras, sus variables económicas y políticas, las propiedades logísticas de su infraestructura y las condiciones de las relaciones comerciales con Colombia en la actualidad. De esta manera se determinan los sectores económicos más importantes del país y con ello, más adelante, se especifican las relaciones de comercio internacional en las que Colombia tiene mayor participación en el mercado y en los sectores donde no tiene mayor contribución y/o alcance. Gracias a las indagaciones en diferentes pilares de Honduras y luego de analizar el desarrollo del comercio, el mercado y la economía de este, la finalidad de este trabajo es que se determinen las formas de potencializar el acuerdo ya firmado con el triángulo del norte, para intensificar la realización de exportaciones e importaciones y aumentar la inversión extranjera directa con Honduras.

With the objective of pointing out the business opportunities that Colombian companies and investors can obtain in the growth of exports to Honduras and the supply of raw materials from there, an exploration is carried out to characterize very accurately Honduras, one of the countries that are part of the Northern Triangle, an economic bloc with which Colombia signed a treaty in 2006 in order to improve its commercial relations. Within this research are the main generalities of Honduras, its economic and political variables, the logistics properties of its infrastructure and the conditions of commercial relations with Colombia today. In this way, the most important economic sectors of the country are determined and with that, later, the international trade relations in which Colombia has greater participation in the market and in the sectors where it has no greater contribution and / or scope are specified. Thanks to the research in different pillars of Honduras and after analyzing the development of trade, the market and its economy, the purpose of this work is to determine the ways to potentiate the agreement already signed with the northern triangle, for intensify the realization of exports and imports and increase foreign direct investment with Honduras.
